AirAsia Voted World’s Best Discounted Airline

AirAsia hits the news again, this time proudly celebrating being voted the World’s Best Discounted Airline and Best Low Cost Airline Asia in the annual survey by aviation consultants Skytrax. The international survey targets up to 18 million travellers asking for their opinions and this is the second year AirAsia have claimed it as their own.

The chairman of the budget airline, Dato’ Abdul Aziz Abu Bakar, received the award on behalf of the airline and stated, “We are proud to be recognised as the world’s best for a second consecutive year. The Skytrax award is very special to us because it is voted on by passengers. It reaffirms once again that we are the People’s Champion.”

They are the foundation of AirAsia’s success.The dedication, commitment, creativity and hard work they display every day, day in and day out, enable us to not just to compete but also succeed in the international arena. And we’re only 8 years old!”

Recently, the Duke of York, UK, Prince Andrew flew with from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore with the airlines Group CEO and visited the airlines Academy, modern training center, and offices at the Low Cost Carrier Terminal in Singapore.
